So eight is the number of new beginnings and like I said in my earlier post this blogging thing is new for me so this blog is affectionately titled so. I wonder if this blog platform can't call some people out of insecurity. Folks who are otherwise undefined and searching. Both spiritually and as far as giftings also.
What does it look like for a new song to come forth, the effects? Like a counter-cultural movement that touches every piece of society, but through music. I always say there is music always playing. Life is lived to the song, the melody, the rhythm, the sound of a sound track. Who is singing it and what are they saying over your life.
Is it one of hope or despair. I want to write a musical pieces of hope, songs of light and truth over my generation. Turn up the truth and watch the black fade away instead of watch the truth fade to black. The inevitable is coming what will stand in the end. Money-making lies or the poor, bare, naked-truth. Let light shine. God is a lover and I'm trying to hook Him up.

i think this is great idea, christian, sometimes people just need a little encouragement and a sense of, "i'm not alone in this!" or "i'm not the only one who thinks/feels this way."
i'm right there with ya, bro, i want my music to mean so much more and have real depth. i don't just want to sound "cool" but i really want the anointing to attract a generation that is searching for something more; something thing that is real. and in some different/"weird" way, introduce them to Jesus...i just want to play what's on God heart...
